Kriti Hotel

We hosted a small group at Kriti hotel for a week, and everything went smoothly. The meeting space worked perfectly, and the location was convenient enough that we could walk everywhere. Guest rooms were clean and just as promised, and the quiet pool area and poolside breakfast were wonderful. Yvonne, Georgios, and all the front desk staff deserve a big shout-out for making the whole experience so positive and easy. Their service was exceptional. Highly recommend!

The location worked well, and the lobby was spacious with a full bar. Breakfast had plenty of hot and cold options, and we could eat by the pool. The hotel itself was clean, large and pretty ordinary, like a box hotel in the United States. We were part of a group of 18 and had been told we'd get upgraded rooms, but the hotel was full when we arrived and we got standard rooms. Since we booked in November, almost a year ahead, that's hard to excuse. Our room was so small we had to take turns moving across it, since two people couldn't pass. The fan was noisy, and the balcony barely fit one chair. There are elevators.

The staff made a real difference. They helped arrange taxis and even sorted out a medical appointment, explaining how the process worked. The rooms were impressively quiet, and I never heard the neighbors. I liked the pool, and breakfast had a good variety, tasted delicious, and stayed open late, which was a nice surprise for sleeping in. The location was ideal for walking to lots of places, and I only took a taxi to and from the airport. I had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. Highly recommend it.

We came back for another night in Chania before joining a trip, having stayed here last year. Reception welcomed us warmly again, even though we arrived later than we'd said we would. The room and breakfast were just as good as we remembered.
