It was hard to find. Is it in the old town?

I’m not someone with special requirements, but cleanliness is non-negotiable for me. This was the worst place I’ve ever seen. I left the same day for the first time in my life and didn’t even care about losing the money. The bathroom was in a separate room, along with a space where the cleaners kept their supplies and unwashed sheets and towels. The first thing I saw in the bathroom was hair lying around. The carpet in the room, apparently used both in winter and summer, looked barely swept. The walls were bare and filthy, and there were cobwebs high in the corners. In places “the mother-in-law” wouldn’t see, it was even dirtier, and I found a discarded IQOS cigarette there. Some of the old sheets had holes. The air-conditioning at least still worked, though it was noisy and seemed as old as everything else. The soundproofing was unacceptable: when people upstairs walked, it felt like they’d land right in our arms, to put it mildly. The night before we left, we also realized we could hear everything outside. I took some photos of what I’ve described. It was my mistake to book in a hurry because of my budget, 62€ a day.

The location is the only real plus: shops, cafes, the old market, and port are close by. The building is very old, and the toilet is in a separate room from the bedroom. Taverns below the hotel make a lot of noise at noon and at night. There were no body towels either. For what it offers, I think it should cost less.
