Sophia at rooms 47 was a perfect host, very polite, and the rooms were very clean. The old harbour view was amazing, from a building dating back to the 12th century with fantastic features. Best view I’ve had in Chania, for a fraction of the usual price. I’d recommend staying here to anyone.

We loved this place. It’s an authentic Cretan house with everything around us, exactly what we were looking for. We could watch beautiful sunsets and sunrises from our window. The host was lovely too, and took time to have long chats with us. All in all, 10/10 👌🏼👌🏼

The house is inherited and has an authentic aesthetic. Its location is very central, just a minute’s walk from the harbour. The host is lovely and welcoming, and as a local she gave us great tips for the city. Honestly, I only have positive things to say.

Sofia is so kind and helps everybody. The traditional place was lovely and very quiet inside the acrópolis of Ghania in old town, with a balcony of Ghania. It’s 7 mn from the bus station and 2 mn from the old Harbour. Thanks very much!

The room, view, and location were all very good 🥰. The accommodation suited me well, and I had a great room, though the cleaning could have been better. I never met the host, so I strongly recommend having WhatsApp and getting in touch before arrival, since that’s the only way to have a chance of checking in. My first three nights were very calm, and I think I was the only resident. On the last night I heard a bit from the other rooms, and there was quite a lot of noise from the plaza outside. I was left alone and had a great room.
