Amalia Hostel

We only booked one night and wished we'd stayed longer. The room was clean and comfortable, with a stunning sea view, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The central location makes it easy to walk to the port. We also rented a car from them without any trouble. We'll stay here again next time in Chios. Thanks for the hospitality.

Amalia Rooms is a wonderful place to stay in Chios, with rooms that are just the right size and extremely clean. The sea-view rooms are hard to pass up, and having coffee on the balcony while looking out at the Aegean was lovely. Popi and Manoli were amazing hosts, so friendly and thoughtful with their hospitality. The housekeeping staff were sweet and did an amazing job. Thank you, Popi, Manoli, Eleni and Despina, for a wonderful stay!

I spent 12 wonderful nights here, and the location is right in the center of Chios. The rooms felt top-class, with brand-new furniture, lots of space, and nice touches like a hairdryer and instant coffee. They were cleaned every day, and this is the cleanest hotel I've visited so far. To me, the experience felt like a four-star hotel despite the two-star rating. It's family-owned and run, and the family were kind and ready to help at any time of day, answer questions, and share their love and knowledge of the island. They really want guests to see everything and enjoy Chios, and their expertise makes them the best tourist guides for the whole island. The car rental service is the best on the island too. Dear Amalia, thank you for an unforgettable stay. It wouldn't have been the same anywhere else. I'd definitely return, and if you're reading this, book right away!
