From my room I had a great view of the bay and mountains. Villy is a great host, and the staff are lovely. Ioanna and Mary at the pool bar always made me smile. I'll definitely come back.

We couldn't fault the hotel. The owner made us feel so welcome, the bartenders were amazingly friendly, and any problems were sorted out straight away. The cleaning was excellent and the view was beautiful. The hill is tough at first, but you get used to it after a while. Brilliant hotel and lovely hosts.

6-13 July 2025. Room 31 had a fantastic view of the sea and pool, and we went to the beach every day. The studios and pool are basic and small, but clean. Some fittings need attention: towel rails were coming off the wall, wardrobe handles were missing, and the front door didn't shut properly. Twice, the cleaner left it open because of that. The hill was the worst part for me, even though I'm pretty fit. There are three routes to the studios, and all are equally bad. Without transport, a taxi costs 5 euros. Sunbeds at the beach are 15 euros or more each, but there was no charge if you spent that amount on their food and drinks. You can't bring your own food or drink. There are lots of places to eat out. A pint of Mythos costs 5-6 euros, and wine is quite expensive. Wasps were a real nuisance as soon as we started eating. They try to keep them away by burning coffee grounds, which works for a while. Maybe there are fewer later in the year.

This was good value for what we paid, and the staff were very friendly. When we had trouble with the air conditioning, they sorted it out quickly. The rooms are basic but comfortable enough, and the views make the hotel a great base for exploring Thassos. It sits at the top of a steep hill, something to bear in mind if you have mobility concerns. A 330ml beer at the bar costs €4-€5, about what you'd pay for a pint in the UK. The bar doesn't sell snacks directly, but you can order them for delivery from a menu.
