Amalphi Corfu City Living by Konnect

We stayed seven nights in June 2025 and had a good time overall, though I'd ideally rate it 3.5 out of 5 rather than 4. The room and bathroom were spacious, renovated and spotless. The location is very central, with everything in the old town reachable on foot in 5-15 minutes. The cleaning arrangement for a seven night stay was one intermediate visit for sheets, towels and toiletries. We only learned this after wondering why nobody had cleaned the room by day four. At €888 for a double room, I find that ridiculous. I've paid less for rooms, even in hostels, where things were changed every two days. In summer in Greece, when you're swimming in the sea and need shampoo and other toiletries daily, the amounts left were tiny. We had to buy shampoo and shower gel at a supermarket, then throw them away because we were flying and couldn't take more than 100mL. We raised the problem and were told they'd do an extra clean, but it never happened. Instead, we came back in the evening to find a bag outside the room with clean towels and supposedly toilet paper, which wasn't there. The communication initially seemed professional, with early check in and clear directions, but the way they handled this felt like they were making fun of us. They kept saying they understood and would sort it, then didn't do the extra cleaning. Also, the bag was left somewhere anyone could access. They clearly had a key to the room, so why not come in?

Everything was close by, as the room was in a very central part of the city. It was a very nice room and well worth it.

The studio was airy and perfectly clean. I especially liked having a kettle, tea bags and coffee pods. There isn't an elevator, which could be an issue for some people.

The central location made getting around easy on foot, and the hospitality stood out. Our new room was kept spotless every day. Each morning we found fresh muffins at the door, and there was a welcome basket with good wine when we arrived. They even left chocolates on our pillows each night.
