Plane spotting from the roomy terrace in the morning was brilliant, and there was plenty of space to park the car. Anna's Apartments is well placed for exploring the island by public transport, and the old town is just under an hour’s walk away. Our expectations were already high, but the apartment exceeded them. The hostess was lovely, and the spacious rooms have been completely refurbished, with all the comforts and kitchen appliances you need. It’s a household name among plane spotters.

A plane spotter’s paradise. We were here for two nights, and the apartment was excellent. The owners were always available if we needed anything.

Anna is around during the day if anything comes up. The location works especially well for plane enthusiasts, and the apartments are comfortable with the basics covered. The shower has amazing pressure and there’s cold water available. Good restaurants are an easy walk away, and the local shop takes about 10 to 15 minutes on foot.

The apartments are clean and pleasant, with places to eat nearby, though getting to some of them means taking a few interesting walks. The runway is close, but once I’m in bed I don’t notice the noise.

We’d happily return. Anna is a fantastic host, and the tidy house has rooms with everything you need. The planes were a bonus, but not the only reason we loved our stay.
