Erini, the owner, is so warm and helpful. We loved the big apartment, and even the studio where we spent one night was great. The location is lovely, with stunning views and lots of peace and quiet. Everything was very clean, and breakfast was nice. We stayed with our two kids and had a wonderful time.

The setting is quiet, among orange trees and olive groves, but the beach and restaurants are still within walking distance. The pool area stayed spotless, there were plenty of loungers all day, and the pool has a jacuzzi beside it. We enjoyed the generous choice of food at the pool bar, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. After 12 nights, what stands out most is how personal the place feels. We’ve stayed at several big 5-star hotels over the years. They were luxurious, but here we felt welcomed by name and part of the family. The hotel may be rated 3 stars, but I’d give it more. Our modern bedroom was spotless, with crisp white linen on a comfortable queen-size bed, plenty of clothes storage, a coffee machine, fridge and safe. The bathroom was just as clean and had a great walk-in shower. Three doors opened onto a large wraparound balcony with superb views of the mountains and olive groves. Everyone on staff was friendly, fun and professional. Erini went above and beyond, arranging trips and car hire when needed. For my husband’s birthday, I asked if she could put some mixed fruit in our room. She also left a bottle of carva and a beautiful vase of fresh-picked flowers from her garden, including roses. Such a thoughtful surprise. Angelo and his son spirous were funny, friendly barmen who gave us good tips on places to visit. They made an effort to chat with guests and remember their favourite drinks. Manager kosta and all the room cleaners were kind and friendly, too. The pool bar food was cooked by a lovely lady, though I’m sorry I can’t remember her name. We had such a perfect holiday that we’ve already booked for next year, something we’ve never done before. The sandy stretch of beach is about a 10-minute walk away. Getting to the main entrance takes more like 15-20 minutes. There are also plenty of nice bars and restaurants around 10-15 minutes down the road. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with a posh look, and it’s always clean. The food and drinks are amazing, and the staff are all lovely, especially Irene, who I think owns the place.

Irene and her family are delightful, and she’s a superb host. It’s a beautiful family-run hotel, and the hot breakfast changes each day.
