Villa Black White Dassia

We love Corfu, but came away with mixed feelings about this villa. Prestige Villas, the agent, was very helpful. There was loads of space in the villa and garden, which worked well for us, but the gym was unusable because of rust and the furniture badly needed replacing. The beds were uncomfortable and need new mattresses and proper pillows. The place also needs a deep clean. We had to wash all the pots, pans and cutlery again when we arrived, and there was no washing-up liquid, kitchen spray, toilet cleaner or dishwasher tablets. The owner was very abrupt and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We were told off like naughty schoolchildren for picking a lime from the fruit trees in the open garden, even though there were no signs or mention of this in the villa manual. The cleaner secretly filmed the trees while we were there and blamed us for missing fruit. It was strange behaviour. We were also told off for having the aircon on low when it was 27 degrees, though none of the correspondence mentioned any limits. The electric gates were broken when we arrived, and one day the whole water system stopped working, leaving us unable to shower or use the toilets. It was fixed, but added to a poor experience, especially at five-star prices.

We take a family holiday every year, and this was honestly one of the best villas we’ve stayed in. Thanks to Spiros and the team for a great job.

A fantastic villa in a handy central spot on the island, just five minutes from the beach, taverns and supermarkets. It has big, sunny rooms, a huge garden and a brand new gym.

You don’t come across accommodation like this often in Greece. Many congratulations.
