The age of the hotel shows on the facade and perhaps inside too, and it could use a lot of renovation money given the poor economy these days. I forgot to take pictures. There's one downside unrelated to the hotel: the city is close to the airport, so you hear planes landing and taking off. Still, all my stars are genuine. The rooms are spacious enough and exceptionally clean, and the mattresses are amazing, with the finest cotton bedsheets. If you value friendly, polite service, the view, and a good night's sleep, this place is right for you.
I used to stay here because it's close to my aunt's apartment, and over several visits in the past seven years I've probably spent 4k-5k. The rooms are dated and there are plenty of maintenance issues that haven't been dealt with. This morning I asked Sophia, the owner, for a cup of coffee before my early flight, but she wouldn't let me take one from the machine. She can be moody enough to make me uncomfortable. I ended up walking in the rain to get coffee. I won't come back. There are better options.
We could walk to the port, restaurants, and old town, which made getting around much easier. The staff were very supportive and let us leave our luggage after check-out. The rooms are somewhat dated, though the ones with balconies are spacious. I'd definitely choose this hotel again if I return to Corfu.
The hotel and rooms are dated, as is common in Corfu, but everything was super clean and the shower had good pressure. The staff were super friendly, and the location is great for the port and old town. The buffet breakfast was worth €10, with fresh, tasty choices.
We needed a place to sleep after a late flight into Corfu, before taking an early hydrofoil to Paxos, and Atlantis worked for that. Being near the new port was handy. The room and bathroom were dated and very basic, especially for £89 a night. The sheets were clean and the bed reasonably comfortable, though. It would’ve been nice to have a couple of small bottles in the room, but they cost two euros each at the bar.
