Akti Suites

The pool view from the lovely rooms was great, and everyone on staff was kind and ready to help with all sorts of requests. There's a 24-hour reception, and you can shower after using the pool even if you've already checked out. The atmosphere was great, prices were good, and it's not far from the city centre. Highly recommend!

We stayed in May 2023 and found the owner very friendly and helpful. Everything we needed was within walking distance, including the beach, restaurants, and car rentals, so we didn't need a car. The location was excellent. Our room was cleaned regularly. Breakfast is served at the owner's restaurant across the street, which also has tasty Greek food.

The beach is just a two-minute walk away, and there's also a rental car place and a Lidl nearby. With all that, the price felt reasonable to me. Mr Andreas was the first thing that made us feel welcome. He manages the locations, Akti Hotel, Taverna Andreas across the street, and a drinks and souvenir shop, and was nearby whenever we needed help. Our Akti room wasn't brand new, but it was well maintained and very clean. It was a large twin room with a table and chairs, a working kitchenette, and a fridge. The AC worked well, though I'd keep it at 25 degrees if you don't want to freeze overnight. The very clean bathroom was a little small, but not inconvenient. There was also a large balcony with a table and chairs where you could have a drink before bed. Breakfast at Taverna Andreas was included. Manolis was always busy, and each morning we had fresh orange juice, coffee, an English breakfast plate, fruit with Greek yoghurt, and more.

We had a very enjoyable vacation with the kids in this clean, pleasant hotel near the beach. The atmosphere was calm, and its own restaurant served delicious breakfast.
