The hotel had a very local feel, and the food was very good. The staff at both breakfast and dinner were friendly, and the whole team was amazing. There’s a beach across the street and another a short walk up the hill. Chania is a 10 euro taxi ride away. Kissamos is 45 minutes away, where you can do a private charter to Balos.

The staff were all so friendly, from reception and the breakfast and dinner restaurant to the cleaning team. Everyone went out of their way to help. The location is great for the beach, though getting to restaurants and shops takes a bit of a walk along a busy road with buses and coaches. The main drawbacks were the impractical bathroom setup and too few sunbeds and not much room by the pool.

The area is pretty quiet, and a bus stops right in front of the hotel for the quick 10-15 minute ride to Chania’s town centre. We spent a week at Forum Suites and had a nice time. It wasn’t too crowded, and the pool is shared with the other guests. A lovely beach is just a short walk away, across the road and down a pretty little path. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant had a good selection of food.

The staff were very helpful, and the cleaning team left us a fresh flower each day. We had a room with a small private pool, though the room layout felt a bit odd. Otherwise it was fine. It’s a nice place to unwind, but somewhat out of the way, 3 km from Chania, with little to do besides relaxing.
