The setting is so peaceful, with the sea on one side and mountains on the other. Having a car makes this location especially convenient: two great supermarkets are four minutes away by car, the old town is a 10-minute drive, and the beach is five minutes away with free parking. The villa and grounds were just right for us. There’s loads of space, and every room except the bathrooms has a balcony, so nobody had to miss out. The pool and grounds were pristine, with barbecue coals and pool toys ready to use. The villa is huge and stocked with everything you need. Best of all, the hosts are a wonderful family. They made us feel completely at home and kept bringing freshly baked Greek treats and eggs from their chickens, which live just across from the villa. We’ve never had a better holiday, and this will be our family’s annual destination.

The views from the three balconies and especially the large roof terrace were wonderful, looking over olive groves towards the sea and the snow-capped Lefka Ori. We also got thoughtful treats from the owner during our stay, including cake, pasta, and wine, plus a complimentary cleaning midway through our two weeks. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and several restaurants are only a 5-10 minute drive away. We were two adults and two children at Villa Panagiotis. Since we arrived on a public holiday, finding the fridge stocked with essentials for our first day was especially helpful. Getting the keys was easy, and we got a friendly tour of the house and its features, including the air conditioning, TV system with Wi-Fi, and pool access. A car is a good idea: Lidl and Synka are five minutes away by car, and a lovely northern beach is seven minutes away. We all felt very comfortable here, and highly recommend it as a holiday home.
