Scheria Hotel

The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help. Towels got changed often, and they regularly took the rubbish out of the room. We always had hot water in the good bathroom, and the free air conditioning cooled the room nicely. Our breakfast was okay, with eggs, salami, sausages, cheeses, sour cream, salad, bread rolls and marmalades, plus orange juice, yogurt and plain water. The beach is directly behind the hotel. It takes a long time to reach deep water, so it's suitable for children. Umbrellas cost 10 euros, and you can use that money to buy something to drink. There was also a bar next to us that stayed open at night and played good music. I'm very satisfied. Nice hotel.

The sea view from the restaurant is fantastic, but the experience was really irritating. People smoke everywhere, and the music is blaring like it's a nightclub, which feels out of place. The whole beach and surrounding area is family-friendly and full of children, so that atmosphere seems entirely inappropriate. They really should set aside smoking areas and adjust the music and noise to suit this beautiful place and its surroundings.

After 12 days here, I can't recommend this hotel. The manager was very rude, the breakfast was inedible, and meals at the restaurant cost far too much. A really bad hotel.

The room's shower screen was incomplete, so water ended up everywhere, and our sheets weren't changed during the 10 days. Breakfast was disappointing and hardly varied across the stay. The director was rude and unpleasant, too. Prices felt very high for this level of service. Wouldn't recommend it.
