Varonos

Our other hotel couldn't provide adjoining rooms, so we found a family suite here at the last minute. The service was great, from breakfast to getting an afternoon coffee or drink at the attached shoppe. We had comfortable rooms and an amazing balcony view. The beds were stiff, and someone nearby was smoking. We couldn't smell it in our rooms, but it was very noticeable in the hallway. Still, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

The hotel is close to the delphi archeological site, about a 10-minute walk for our group. We went in December, and the streets were almost empty and very quiet. Inside, the lobby felt cozy, with Christmas ornaments and a big Christmas tree. We were on a school trip, three to a room. Our balcony gave us a beautiful view of Itea and the surrounding mountains, with lots of stars at night. That depends on the room, though: some friends faced only the street, and others didn't have balconies. The rooms were a bit cramped, but the beds and bathroom were fine. The shower was small but usable, and the thin walls meant we could hear the neighboring rooms. Breakfast was okay, I had bread and yogurt. There's also a little bakery connected to the hotel, though I didn't get to check it out.

The hotel itself was lovely, with a beautiful location and perfectly fine rooms, but the service after I lost my headphones was amazing. I realized a day later, when I was already in Olympia, and couldn't go back because I was with my school. I called, got an email address, and after two emails they told me they'd found them. I paid the costs and they sent them back. That's the rest of the story. Amazing service, 100/10.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We arrived several hours late because of a flight delay, long after closing time, but an employee stayed up to let us in. Hotels here seem to lock their doors at night, so check in and get your key before then. This was the best hotel I've stayed at while traveling through Greece. Check out the shop beside the hotel, too. It has lots of local goods, including an olive oil and soap brand owned by the employee's family.
