Dimitsana must once have been an important place, judging by its history and the notable people born there. This is the tallest stone tower in Peloponnisos, 18 metres high with five floors. It once hosted George King of Greece during a visit and is now a guesthouse. A nice place to stop by in Dimitsana.

The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the tower’s restaurant served homemade breakfast. From the moment we arrived, the staff were kind and genuinely helpful, even organizing our trip and helping us park the car. Walking into the historic stone tower felt magical. We had a great stay and hope to see you again soon.

I loved the views and really enjoyed staying here. The room, management and breakfast were all incredible, and I hope I get a chance to come back.

Our room had been booked and confirmed by phone. When I called three days before we were due to arrive to make sure the reservation still stood, Reception said there was no booking and the room was no longer available. Highly unprofessional. I can’t recommend it.

Everything was wonderful, from the hosts and the view to the room and bed. It’s also close to the village centre. Excellent place.
