Vassilis was a lovely person and a really great host. When the boat was cancelled because of the wind, he helped us out. The place was clean and comfortable, and in a great location. We definitely recommend getting in touch with him directly for the best room rates.

Vassilis made our early checkout easy when we were leaving the island in the evening. He kept our luggage during the day and let us use an extra shower room and bathroom before we left. He’s exceptionally warm and hospitable, always approachable, generous with island tips, and the reception has useful things like waterkettles, umbrellas and local information. Our stay last week at Pahivouni, in Studio Aloni Groundfloor, exceeded all my expectations. The location is quiet, but just a short walk from the harbor, restaurants, bars and a supermarket. The sea is only a few metres away, and the view from the studio was amazing. The place is beautifully maintained, with a calm, inviting feel. Our spacious studio was modern but simple, tastefully and practically furnished, and felt cozy and homely right away. Vassilis says he’s a cleanliness fanatic and checks the rooms himself, and it shows. Everything was spotlessly clean, freshly washed and smelled lovely, including the bedspreads and sofa cushion covers. Pahivouni Studios was perfect for us, and we’d definitely come back and warmly recommend it. Many thanks for everything!

The spacious rooms and balcony, facilities, cleanliness, amazing views and handy location near the port all stood out, and the value was amazing. This was our second visit to these wonderful apartments, and Vassilis welcomed us like old friends, which we consider him to be! It’s the only place we’d stay on the fabulous island of Donoussa. Vassilis was a warm host and knew a lot about the island. The apartment was spotless, with tasteful furnishings, plenty of room, and an extraordinary view out over the blue sea.
