The garden was a real highlight for our family, with plenty of safe space for the children to play among the olive trees. We stayed in the Hermes Villa and found it peaceful, with fresh air, greenery and a clear aquamarine pool lined with sunbeds. Inside, everything felt new and was very clean, including the rooms, kitchen and bathrooms. The beach in Almyrida is very close. The owners and host were friendly, quick to respond and helpful with anything we needed. One of the nicest villas my family and I have stayed in, and we’d definitely recommend it.

The owners and hosts made our holiday especially memorable. They were welcoming, polite and always available, and even left gifts for us. We were surprised to find ripe little Cretan bananas growing on a garden tree, and happily ate them all. We also slept really well on the Coco-Mat mattresses, and the hilltop setting among olive trees and greenery was quiet. Icarus Villa is luxurious and brand new, so it was sparkling clean. The outdoor area was beautifully kept, and the pool was one of the cleanest my family and I have seen. It’s about five minutes from the lovely sandy beach at Almyrida. We’d recommend it without a doubt.

We felt very well looked after by Nancy, the owner, and Despoina, the host. They were easy to reach and quick to respond. Icarus Villa was peaceful, with a lovely pool, beautiful garden and great views. We also got a warm welcome, including a welcome pack and gifts. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.
