Robolla Beach Apart Hotel

The hotel sits on a hillside, so after eating you pretty much have to crawl back up to your room. The beach isn't as enjoyable as some others on Corfu, though that's not the hotel's fault. The service and staff were perfect, and the food was excellent.

The early breakfast for guests heading out on excursions needs more thought. Before the dining hall opens, all we were given was fruit, frozen rolls, tea, jam, and cheese, with no milk for the tea. We raised it with the catering team but got nowhere. Otherwise, we had no complaints and would certainly stay again. The hotel and grounds were exceptionally clean, and the rooms and grounds were well maintained. There was plenty of food at both breakfast and dinner buffets, with a good choice in both quantity and quality. Costas and his dining hall team were very attentive, and reception staff were kind and supportive. There were four of us, two men and two women.

The food at the restaurants was delicious, and both the bars and restaurants were fairly priced. Staff were friendly and always ready to help, and the town centre was an easy walk along the beach. Our apartment was spacious, had a big balcony and was serviced every day. The resort and its pools and beach areas were in great shape. We stayed for two weeks, though getting back to our apartment at the top of the resort meant tackling some very steep hills. We managed the walk, but anyone with even mild mobility difficulties would find it a real challenge.

We visited in September and enjoyed the clean beach, with good loungers and plenty of shady spots. The food and drinks were good, and the staff were very friendly. Getting to some rooms can mean quite a long, steep walk, depending on where you're staying. There is a free golf cart service to take guests to their rooms if they have a disability.
