Shades of White Villas

The location is a little tucked away, so a car or another rental vehicle would be most convenient. We felt safe and really loved our stay. George was kind and looked after us, even helping to jumpstart our car. The room and atmosphere were lovely, and the jacuzzi was a great extra. They also have a jet spray, and a 3 pm checkout, which is great when many hotels make you leave much earlier.

We spent loads of time in the hot tub and on the terrace of our loft villa. The apartment had everything we needed, was spotless, and the towels were changed every two days. George had sent recommendations before we arrived and was available during the stay to sort out a couple of small issues. His welcome and kindness made the holiday even better, and I can’t recommend him or these villas highly enough. A rental car is handy for exploring, and parking at the villas is easy. If you’d rather take public transport, there’s a bus stop a few minutes’ walk away, and the buses are modern.

The team made everything easy, sharing local tips, arranging transfers, and looking after the details throughout. The location was quiet and peaceful, but Oia and Fira were still just a short drive or walk away. The view was the highlight for me. Waking to Santorini’s famous landscape and having wine on the private terrace at sunset felt unforgettable, like stepping into a postcard. From arrival, the hospitality made me feel at home. The apartment was bright, spacious, beautifully designed, and very clean, with lovely Cycladic decor and modern comforts. Shades of White Apartments gave me a magical, peaceful, and luxurious Santorinian stay. I’m already thinking about coming back.

The man seemed uninterested and uncivilized, with little concern for customers. When I booked particular rooms, I wasn't given what I had reserved. I ask the host to address this and put a new policy in place so guests aren't told on arrival that all rooms are occupied. That claim isn't true. The water also smelled, so I couldn't shower 🙏
