Timedrops Santorini

The owners and Mr Nikos were incredibly helpful and kind. The houses were beautiful, each decorated around a different theme, and very, very clean, with private pools. The location is handy for the southern beaches, and Fira is only a ten-minute drive away. You’ll definitely need a car for your Santorini holiday.

Eleftherios made this villa stay especially memorable. He met us when we arrived, shared useful local knowledge and tips, and even cooked homemade treats during our visit. Daily room service gave the villa a hotel-like touch. There was a personal pool, too, and the villa itself was incredible. The kitchen had all the essentials, though no oven, so we could still make some of our meals. There’s plenty to see and do around the island. If you’re not very confident driving, taxis or public transport may suit you better, since the roads are very narrow.

Timedrops has been the best villa stay I’ve had. The customer care was excellent, and the town center views were lovely. The villas are peaceful and calm, with a really nice setting and a layout that would surprise any holidaymaker. They’re close to the beach and easy to reach from the town center. Most of all, the receptionist, Nicholas, was incredibly kind and caring. He gave us his time, welcomed us warmly, and shared all the information we needed about Santorini. I’d recommend Timedrops Villas to anyone. It’s worth every penny.

The apartment was about what we expected, and the stay was pleasant in some ways, but it fell short of what we’d hoped. TV sets weren’t working, and the kettle needed replacing. The cleaning arrangement was also awkward: we were asked to be out between 10 and 11, and had to text the owner the night before to skip service, since there was no door sign to hang up. One morning we came back well after 11 to find the cleaners still inside. Another time, we’d spent most of the morning out and returned to a room that hadn’t been made up. We stayed in the Thira villa in September.
