The room’s decor is really interesting and impressive, and it was spacious. There’s an electric stove and an oven in the kitchen, and the place is excellent value for money. Just know the hotel is high up on the mountain, so trying to stay here without a car is a bad idea. There’s no microwave. The air conditioner is placed terribly: it blows onto the bed in the corridor, and it doesn’t work in the bedroom.

The hosts were difficult to deal with and communicated poorly, blaming others for many things that went wrong. The water was shut off while I was covered in soap in the shower, and the owner said it wasn’t their problem. They advertise with photos of their own balcony, but it isn’t included with any apartment you can book. The photos DO NOT represent the accommodation. The kitchen had old food, grease and grime smeared on the walls, and the tea towel was threadbare. The toilet brush was unhygienic and disgusting, a health hazard. There was other people’s hair in the beds. Huge dogs barked continually and were very disruptive. Building work started as early as 6.45am, even on Sundays. The toilet seat, bathroom basin plug, airing rack, outdoor tabletop, extractor fan, fridge and some chairs were broken. The beds had bare mattresses and thin, threadbare grey sheets. The towels were grey too.

The owner was very rude and impolite. Maybe they’re fed up with customers by the end of the summer? Change your work, or don’t forget where your money comes from.
