Argini Syros

Maria and Cleopatra welcomed us warmly as soon as we arrived. Our room wasn't ready, so they settled us in the outdoor restaurant area and offered us a drink. We were also very glad to receive an upgrade. The room was lovely, well appointed, and had great high-tech conveniences. We especially enjoyed the included daily à-la-carte breakfast. The staff were gracious and efficient, and we appreciated Maria's professionalism, friendliness, and excellent restaurant suggestions. We ate where the locals do and enjoyed every bite. A wonderful experience, and certainly the place to stay in Syros.

The warm, personal welcome from proprietor Mr. John Polykretis, his spouse Mrs. Chara, and Cleopatra at the front of house meant a lot to us. Thank you for the generous hospitality. I arranged a two-night mid-November 2025 getaway from Athens for myself and visiting family. Argini Hotel Syros is a stunning historic mansion, meticulously renovated with impressive attention to detail throughout the property and the guest experience. The rooms felt cozy and thoughtfully designed. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast and dining options, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Its location was excellent, and having onsite parking was a plus. We definitely recommend it and wouldn't stay anywhere else when we visit beautiful Syros. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Maria made every visit to Argini feel personal. She remembered our family after just one meal and welcomed us like old friends. That warmth made the dining experience special, and we won't forget it. The food was incredible, fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavor. Argini was one of the highlights of our time in Syros. The rooftop is a standout, with a 360-degree view that I think is the best in the city. Argini is a family-owned boutique hotel in the best area of the chora, recently renovated with high-quality materials and a lot of taste. The rooms are a very good size, and the bathroom was spacious and stunning. We stayed for a week, and every staff member was kind, gentle, helpful, and always smiling. They helped us with everything we needed to see on the island and with whatever we asked for. I do recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay in Syros.
