Costas is an awesome owner, always willing to help. Ask him for directions or suggestions and you’ll also get a little history lesson about everything in Syros. The hotel is very nicely decorated, and the rooms are clean and well equipped. It’s close to the port and the town center but still peaceful at night, with a very pleasant atmosphere. I’d highly recommend staying here. The service and what you get for your money match my expectations, and I’ll certainly come again.

Our son was admitted to hospital with severe appendicitis and needed surgery, so we had to get to Syros urgently. In those stressful circumstances, the owner and family were kind, humane, compassionate, helpful, and above all friendly. They gave us the best accommodation we could have hoped for. We felt so blessed. Thank you!

The room at Axilleion Boutique Hotel was quiet, spotless, and so nicely decorated, with an artistic style that made it feel different from other places I’ve stayed. The hotel is close to everything, yet tucked away enough to feel calm and peaceful. The owner was friendly and accommodating from the moment I arrived, and went out of his way to make the stay a good one. His tips helped me plan what to see and do, so I could find local gems around the island. Axilleion Boutique Hotel made exploring Syros comfortable, stylish, and welcoming. I highly recommend it, and can’t wait to return.

The room was clean and nicely decorated in a modern style, with a TV, AC, and small fridge. Walking to the city center takes around 10-15 minutes, and a taxi from the port cost just 4 euro's. In summer, the municipality runs a free mini bus, with a busstop right across from the hotel. We stayed at Axilleion for 4 days and definitely recommend it, 5 out of 5. We arrived by ferry from Naxos after a two hours delay caused by the ferry company. We let the host know, and he kept reception open just for us. He also gave us a nice list of local tips for things to do and see in Syros. Thank ylou!

I needed a room at short notice, and they really helped me out. The guesthouse was such a pleasant place for my 5 nights, with modern rooms, great design, quiet nights, and daily cleaning. I’d recommend it to anyone.
