The only letdown was the balcony. The booking website made it sound private, but it was outside the room and shared with everyone. Breakfasts, though, were excellent, so filling we didn't need lunch. The owner was wonderful and gave us plenty of sensible tips for places to see and beaches. We also managed to get their one parking space, which was extremely useful, even if the narrow back streets felt a little scary. The house sits right on the water, and the swimming deck below the hotel is great for an early dip when the wind isn't too strong. We'll definitely stay again.

The owners and their team make every visit feel special with their warm, exceptional hospitality. Hotel Ploes has charm and timeless elegance, with tasteful decor. Its location right by the sea is perfect, and direct access makes it easy to go for a refreshing swim. We've returned every year for the past 10 years, and each stay has felt just as magical as the first. Already looking forward to next year!

Our four nights at Ploes were wonderful. The loft had beautiful views of Little Venice, and the kids shared a room below. There was plenty to choose from at the included breakfast, and it was delicious. Staff were excellent and the service was exceptional. We also enjoyed the private swim platform, whether for a dip or a cocktail. Definitely recommend.

The breakfast was among the best we've ever had, and the little private platform for a swim in the sea was wonderful. Staff were lovely and provided excellent service, even diving into the ocean to retrieve our keys. Konstantinos at reception deserves a shoutout for his great tips and help. A true gem, 6/5. If you can secure a room, this premium experience is well worth it. Highly recommended.
