This lovely little hotel is right in Chania’s historic center, and I’d happily stay again. My room was spacious and beautifully kept, with a small balcony looking over the square and church. It was just right for coffee in the morning before getting ready for the day. My late-night flight was delayed too, but someone at the hotel stayed in touch with me on Whatsapp the whole time. When I finally arrived, they were waiting for me, which I really appreciated. The location is great, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The square by Agios Nikolaos was right outside, and the view was lovely. The old town is a busy area, though, so it isn’t the place for a really quiet stay. The cafe next door had three great live music nights in a row, and they finished at 11.00pm. The staff were polite and nice, and I’d stay again. Inside, the room was pretty, with very high ceilings, good double glazing, a comfortable bed, and a nice shower.

The owners and staff were generous and welcoming, and that meant a lot to us. Since it’s family run, it’s easy to feel a personal connection with both the people and the place. It’s also in a great spot for exploring the old town. We had a wonderful stay.
