The included breakfast came right to our room patio, so we could enjoy the view while eating. The hotel has two sides, and we stayed in room 124, where the view was amazing. Just outside the room, the sunset was beautiful. The place was recently renovated, and the room felt modern and very clean. The staff were excellent, especially Nefeli, who kindly took time to explain what we should see and share some Santorini history. We had a wonderful stay at Sun Rock boutique hotel and highly recommend it. Thank you!

The view from Sun Rock Boutique was the best on the island, and breakfast was amazing too. Everyone was hospitable, helpful and hardworking. The girl working there had only been on the job for three days, yet she put in so much effort to help us feel comfortable. Thank you, Xristos and team. I'll be back!

We loved our stay at Sun Rocks in Fira. From reception to the restaurant, the staff were friendly and fabulous, and Kostantina deserves special thanks for all her help and suggestions. The views were incredible, and the location in the heart of Firostefani made it convenient to reach shops and restaurants. There are lots of steps up and down to the room, so unfortunately it's not suited to people with mobility issues.

The staff went out of their way to help when my ferry was cancelled and I needed to stay another night in Santorini. They put me at ease through a stressful situation. They're also thoughtful in little ways, remembering your favorite drink or where you like to sit when you return the next day. The hotel has stunning views and spacious rooms that are new and clean, with air conditioning that works very well. Phenomenal place, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

About a week before our trip, our reservation was cancelled without an explanation, much like another reviewer described. The booking site's support said it was due to “force majeure.” When I contacted the hotel, they told me they would unfortunately be closed permanently. If they really have closed, this review may not matter. But if they're still open and using that as a reason to get out of bookings, then the 1* rating seems fair, and I'd advise booking somewhere else.
