The breakfast was satisfactory, the restaurant staff attentive, and having it in the room was convenient. There was also ample parking. Beyond that, the stay fell short of expectations. The pool was much smaller than we expected, and in the evenings it becomes a dining area, so there’s no chance to relax by it late in the afternoon. A road right below obstructs the view and spoils the infinity pool feeling shown in the photos. Few guests seemed to linger there. We went to another hotel for a better pool and Caldera view, which says a lot. Most rooms also don’t have the stunning views suggested by the hotel’s images, and that’s hard to tell from the website. At check-in they asked to see the credit card used to book. I didn’t have it with me, so they insisted on canceling the reservation and demanded new payment. It felt highly questionable. I’ve stayed at hotels all over the world and had never been asked to cancel and repay. The manager was unyielding and discourteous, and the staff’s arrogance and lack of help made the whole experience worse.

The dinner was one of the best meals we’ve ever had, served in a perfect setting with soft music, candlelight, and the sun setting over the sea. We were amazed by the whole experience, from the beautiful views and spotless suites to the delicious food and outstanding service. Staff even kept our water glasses filled with cool water without being asked, anticipating what we needed. The infinity pool was clear, clean, and the perfect temperature, and we loved swimming there every day. The loungers were comfortable too. My husband and I loved staying here, and it was beyond what we expected.

We stayed six days and had a sea view. The room, front desk and room service, and the Fly Away Bar were all like nothing else. The view and service made me not want to leave, and the hot tub was a favorite too. Breakfast was complimentary, really good, and well prepared. I highly, highly recommend this hotel. It’s a 10+ and the best in the Caldera. I’ll definitely return to West/East, and don’t want to stay anywhere else. My fiancé and I left on October 22.

The rooms were comfortable and super clean, a lovely place to relax. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend the hotel. The view is beautiful and makes every moment feel special, and both the food and the wide selection of delicious breakfast options were great.

West East in Santorini is gorgeous, with breathtaking caldera views and all the little details making it feel cozy and luxurious. The restaurant food was delicious, some of the best I’ve had. The staff were super friendly and professional, and made us feel right at home. I had an amazing stay and can’t recommend it enough for a Santorini trip!
