Thermae Sylla Spa Wellness Hotel

At Thermae Sylla SPA and Wellness Hotel, the thermal spring water and serene surroundings left me feeling brand new and full of energy. Green hills meet the blue sea here, and the kind staff greet you with a genuine smile. The SPA offers a range of rejuvenating treatments, and the fresh organic food was delicious and nourishing. It felt like a deeply relaxing, renewing ritual, a real detox and a chance to reconnect with myself. The spring water seemed to reset my nervous system, and the whole stay felt like a therapeutic rebirth. I hope to return to this Fountain of Life many times. One note for ladies and gentlemen, mobile phone use is strongly discouraged.

The massage was another major problem. A session booked for 45 minutes could be cut to 30, and the actual massage might last only about 25 minutes, with the rest called “relaxation.” I paid for a massage, not just use of a couchette. Worse, the massage itself was totally unprofessional. I’ve dealt with massage professionals before, and this was nowhere near their standard. A poor masseur can be worse than none at all, even if the masseuse is lovely. There were other issues at this supposedly “5-star” hotel, too, but I came mainly to support my rehabilitation, and those pale beside the service problems. They may start draining the pool early without warning. When I raised it with the manager, he said, “we give you back the cost of the pool, 35 Euros.” Is that really the attitude after I paid 1000 Euros for 4 days?

They were very unfriendly and refused every request without trying to help. We bought the wrong shoes and couldn’t return them shortly afterward, even though they were still sealed. The amenities are very old too. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Never again. We spent 20€ on three drinks, and the coffee wasn’t even hot. We just wanted to play cards, but a waiter chased us off and insulted us because we weren’t hotel guests, even though we’d been served and they knew that. He wouldn’t let us speak and was incredibly rude.
