Amalia Apartments

Ms Sophia went out of her way to make us feel at home, and the apartments were exceptionally clean, with daily cleaning while we were at the beach. They’re spacious enough for families of up to five and have all the kitchen appliances, plus more. The sea views are phenomenal, with a paragliding club nearby. You can walk to some great local restaurants and a bar, and the food was good. Getting to the beach takes at least 20 minutes by car, though the paved roads are in good condition. I’d recommend staying here for a Lefkada holiday.

Maria was the standout for us. She was caring, welcoming, and quick to respond to what we needed. We also had visits from the sweetest local cat, who had just had two little kittens. Please be kind to her and give her something to eat if you can. The place itself was spotless, spacious, and nicely decorated. We loved the unreal sunset views, and the location worked well for reaching spectacular beaches and stylish restaurants. We travel a lot, and this was one of our best stays.

Maria made us feel at home right away and had great suggestions for beaches, sights, and restaurants. We especially liked being a short walk from Rachi, where you can have dinner with a lovely view of the sunset, and there’s a small bakery next door. The apartment was spacious, fully equipped, and even more beautiful than the pictures. Its huge balcony has a stunning view, too. We wished we could have stayed longer. We miss the place already and hope to return.

You can walk to two of the island’s nicest restaurants, and the view is superb.
