Aliter Suites

The grounds and pool were lovely, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were amazing. Our room was huge, and the loft had a mezzanine and jacuzzi, which I'd definitely recommend. I was really glad we stayed here instead of in the busy town centre. It was calm and peaceful, and the shuttle was a handy perk. For a couple of nights the hotel even ordered food in for me, and it was both tasty and super cheap. Thanks, Aliter. I hope to be back next year.

We booked the whole hotel for a week in early July for my sister's wedding in Santorini, bringing the bride and groom, family, and close friends. The spacious rooms were especially useful while we were getting ready on the wedding morning. They were clean and chic, with nicely made beds each day; some opened by the pool and others had a jacuzzi. The hotel itself is stunning, with a vineyard, sea views, and city views. The pool was a great place for us to relax and have fun, with lovely views of the sea. Breakfast was great, with plenty of healthy choices, and the staff arranged lunch deliveries when we wanted them. We went out for dinner each night. A lovely beach is a 10 minute walk away, with beach club Yalos. I preferred its vibe and food and cocktails to the more popular places down South and in perivilos. The best restaurants and Fira are a 5 minute taxi ride away, and taxis can be expensive. Still, the quiet here made that worthwhile. The staff arranged our taxis and excursions at a decent rate. I visited and stayed in other parts of the island too, and Kamari and Oia are worth seeing, but I was glad we stayed here since it felt central for getting around. You really don't want to stay in the town centre, believe me. We were so happy to find Aliter Suites. Electra, Zili, Yanis, Andreas, and the rest of the team were joyful, accommodating, and made the trip unforgettable. Zili went above and beyond for us every day, she's a ray of sunshine. The hotel needs more stars! Thank you for having us, we won't forget you.

The free shuttle to and from Fira ran a few times a day and saved us the €15 local taxi fare, which was a big help. We also loved the breakfast. It wasn't a buffet: we chose from the menu the night before, with no limit on how much we could order, and it was ready at the time we picked. The suite had been booked for two, but they easily changed it to fit three. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff greeted us warmly. The suite was incredibly spacious, with comfortable beds, a roomy shower area, and our own porch leading out to the pool. I can't praise it enough. The staff made our stay so enjoyable. Zeely was especially caring and went out of her way to make everything as pleasant as possible. A huge thank you to everyone at Aliter Suites. I really hope to see you again soon.

The best things about staying here for me were the great service and how quiet and peaceful it was compared with Fira. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the pool, bar, and small gym are all great. Everyone was really nice, and breakfast was very good. The location could be an issue: it's around 1,5 km from Fira and 1 km from the beach in the other direction. You can walk, but it's uphill if you don't fancy the distance. The hotel runs free buses to Fira and back 2-3 times a day.
