Maria made us feel at home in Greece. She greeted us with a big smile and homemade sweets, and even brought a birthday cake, though the birthday had been the day before. She kept surprising us with local treats and useful tips for nearby places. We were grateful to be able to check in early, too. Having worked in hospitality ourselves, we know how much these thoughtful gestures matter. The apartment is beautiful, carefully put together, and has everything you might need. It’s a short walk from the sea. Thank you for all your kindness.

Eight nights went by much too quickly, and we wished we could stay longer. The villas sit in a small village, just 100 meters from a beautiful beach that had very few visitors compared with Agia Galini and especially Matala. The property is a lovely cluster of private villas, equipped for a comfortable stay. We slept well, the linens were pleasant, and there were plenty of towels. The kitchen had cookware, utensils, and basics like tea, salt, spices, and coffee, enough for the first few days. The hosts had also left delicious treats, and they replied right away whenever we had a question or request. We stayed in September 2025 and would gladly recommend it as a base for exploring Crete’s southern coast.

We woke to wide ocean views and the sound of the waves, which made the stay feel magical. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed to relax. With direct access to the beach, the outdoor area was ideal for sun and quiet time by the water. Our host was welcoming and attentive, and everything went smoothly. We loved this beachfront getaway and would happily return.
