The location suited us well: it’s quiet and a little remote, and although three other villas were occupied nearby, we never heard anyone. There’s a dirt road leading in from either direction. The beach is about an eight-minute walk away, though the return includes a short uphill stretch. Villa 3 was spotless and fitted out to a very high standard. Everything went smoothly, and Nikos was an excellent host who provided great service. When we arrived, the fridge and grocery cupboard already had enough supplies for the first day or two. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely come back sometime.

The quiet location, house and pool made for such a relaxing week. The rooms were lovely too, and communication was easy. Nikos was incredibly kind and helpful throughout. Our flight was delayed, but he still waited for us late at night. He’d also left a few snacks for that evening and fresh bakery items for breakfast, such a thoughtful touch. Dimitri’s restaurant was the perfect extra treat: right by the beach, and everything we had was delicious. Thanks so much for a lovely week!

Nikos takes real pride in the villas and does everything he can to make guests feel welcome. We stay in villas often, and this is one of the best we’ve been to. Villa Delfini 4 and its outdoor space are exceptionally well done. The fridge was already stocked with what we needed to get our holiday started. We had a wonderful week and I’d highly recommend Delfini Villas.

The hillside setting above Kalamaki, Crete is so peaceful, like a little retreat. The villa is luxurious, beautifully designed and well kept. Our host made us feel very welcome. We love coming here, and we’re already planning a return next year.
