We loved having quiet corners and privacy throughout the villas, and making pizza in the oven before watching the sunsets was a highlight. The villas are modern, spacious, very well equipped, and spotlessly clean. George and his daughter Helen were so friendly and helpful. We had a few extra requests, and Helen went above and beyond to sort them out. Thank you, Helen and Georg (and Maria), for making this such a special stay. We wished we could have stayed longer.

The view and sunset are not to be missed, and we loved the beautiful, stylish place. The villas were very nice and clean, and the service was extraordinary. We arrived very late and had a few requests, but everything was handled so well. Thank you all 🙏🏻 We’ll be back.

Kamilari is a lovely traditional Cretan village, still unspoiled, with a good selection of tavernas and a small supermarket and bakery. The views from the villa across the mountains, villages, and sea were spectacular. Giorgos, Maria, and Helen made us feel very welcome and did everything they could to make our holiday special. We spent two fabulous weeks at Villa Rafaela in July 2018. The villa had lots of indoor space and was finished to a very high standard, with everything needed for a luxury stay. The outdoor area was fantastic too, with a high-quality pool, furniture, barbecue, and gardens. We’d love to return, perhaps in 2019. Mike, Lucy, Jack and Issy

We had a great week here with our family. The house had everything we needed and the A/C was great. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. It’s a bit out of the way, which was handy with the kids since we didn’t have to worry about being too loud. Still, we could walk to the village for dinner.
