We were after a quiet place for visiting Matala and Red Beach, and this was just right. Jodi was quick to respond, everything was clean, and the place had all we needed. A wonderful host and a great stay!

The quiet countryside setting made this a real stress-free stay. Our room was bright and clean, and we could hear crickets and farm animals, but no town noise. Pitsidia is only a short walk away, and Matala is 4 km from the property. It’s a handy base for getting around the area while staying away from the urban bustle. Jodi welcomed us to her cosy BB with warmth and care, and gave us excellent suggestions for getting around this beautiful part of Crete. We felt an instant connection. I’d love to come back, and I’ll recommend it to friends visiting Crete.

The village and nearby villages are just what we look for in Crete, unspoilt and full of traditional restaurants. There were plenty to choose from, and the nearby beaches were fantastic too. My girls loved the kitchen equipment and made fresh orange juice every morning. I’m still dreaming about the peach cake you made, “true love.” Thanks for a great time, Jodi. Your villa was a wonderful home away from home, cosy, immaculate and equipped with everything we needed, just as you said before our August visit. We loved the relaxing location and your management style. You were there for local advice or anything extra, but also gave us space to enjoy our holiday. You’ve got that balance just right, and the villa is beautifully furnished. Sorry for the late review, this stay deserved 5 stars and more. Lovely meeting you.
