We really enjoyed our stay. The host was so friendly, and the place was quiet and pleasant for our one night there. The room had pretty much what we needed for a couple of days near the sea: WiFi, a shower bathroom, TV, air conditioning, a fridge, kettle, cutlery and a double bed. There are several tavernas about a 15-minute walk away, plus a shop for picking up breakfast.

They provided the baby bed we asked for, and the interior is thoughtfully designed and clean. WiFi was fast, with 80 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload, which worked well for work and entertainment. I wouldn't describe it as luxurious, though.

There's access from the main road into Matala, and a second entrance lower down that makes parking possible. What I'll remember most is having breakfast on the shaded balcony in the morning. Still, the place doesn't feel as luxurious as the listing suggests.

The owner and cleaning lady were both warm and welcoming. The studio was roomy, tidy and clean, with a nice balcony and a parking spot, which matters a lot in Matala. The location was nice too.

The bed was comfortable, and the photos look great, but I wouldn't book again. The bathroom is awful, just 1.40 x 1.40, with the shower, toilet and sink all in there. It flooded all the time, smelled moldy and had nowhere to put luggage.
