The rooms are great, and breakfast is lovely with a view over the Mediterranean. There are nice restaurants nearby and outstanding beaches too. Ioannis is a wonderful host, funny and a bit philosophical, as you'd expect in Greece. He makes everything feel completely relaxed, so you can leave everyday life behind and maybe find yourself if you're still looking. I absolutely recommend it!

The location is quiet, and there are stunning beaches like Falassarna close by, along with good places serving authentic Greek food. Our spacious room was clean, fully equipped, and had a beautiful balcony view. Breakfast was a treat, with plenty of fresh, tasty choices. The host was so friendly and welcoming, always checking that we were well looked after. We'd highly recommend this charming, peaceful place for a memorable stay in Crete.

Ioannis is a wonderful host, and breakfast was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs and Greek honey. The modern rooms were very clean and had a stunning view. There's free parking, and the hotel makes a perfect base for exploring the west coast beaches. Highly recommended!

We felt warmly welcomed, more like friends than customer guests, thanks to our Host. The housekeeping was perfect, and breakfast was fresh, prepared with care and attention, and very good. Our seaview room was just the right size and had plenty of accommodations. We also appreciated the hotel's private parking, since the nearby restaurants can make this area crowded at night. The service and attention to every detail at Kaliviani Traditional Hotel were exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
