Dias Hotel Faliraki Rhodes

The rest of the staff were kind and helpful, and even drove us to get a phone repaired after it was damaged during our stay. Still, one serious incident overshadowed the whole vacation. We keep kosher and had brought a pot from home. A staff member threw it away, saying it was “too dirty,” without asking or getting our permission. When we complained at the front desk, we were shouted at and treated disrespectfully instead of receiving an apology or compensation. That behavior was unacceptable and seriously damaged our trust and experience. It’s a shame that one employee’s actions outweighed the rest of the stay.

The executive suite was perfect, and the pool was a lovely place to relax and unwind. Staff were kind and ready to help, and breakfast was better than I expected.

We had a lovely stay at Dias with my sister and niece. The rooms were spacious and airy, and being able to connect to YouTube and Netflix was a nice bonus. Everyone was friendly, and whenever we needed something, the front desk helped without making us feel like we were a bother. The pool was pleasant and never too crowded. The beach was about a 15-minute walk away, which worked well for us. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a good variety to choose from, and the young woman there made the best iced latte. We’d recommend it for a family trip and will definitely come back. The housekeeping woman was lovely too. I’m not sure where she was from, but she spoke Spanish. We did get some stares, though nothing that put us off, as the hotel itself seemed multicultural. 😊

The rooms were spotless, with daily cleaning, and the pool area was really nice with plenty of sunbeds. Staff were very friendly, and lunch was both very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of everything, though after two weeks a bit more variety would have been welcome. The location was excellent, about 600 metres from a supermarket and 1 kilometre from the main shopping and restaurant area. The beaches were around 2 kilometres away and really nice. The kitchen facilities were poor and not suitable for cooking, and the shower was tiny with taps that were hard to work.
