The hotel is rated 4 stars, but in reality it feels more like a 3. Staff were generally kind and helpful, though I can't say the same about housekeeping. Towels were replaced only if we insisted, the room was cleaned once in seven days, and the bathroom wasn't cleaned at all during that time. For a four-star hotel, service should be much better. There's no wardrobe, only one shelf. The bathroom has neither a window nor ventilation.

I’ve worked in hospitality for years, so I’m shocked by how this was handled. We were robbed, and the hotel has shown no accountability: no response, apology, acknowledgment, or solution. Ignoring every attempt to contact them makes it feel like guests are being deliberately targeted. It’s disgraceful, and anyone who stays here risks going home without their belongings.

We filed a police report right away and emailed management twice with the details and evidence. By July 30, 2025, there was still no acknowledgment or reply. The hotel’s refusal to take responsibility or address basic security left us feeling that our safety and trust had been violated. If you care about your belongings and peace of mind, avoid this place. We stayed at Evita Elite Hotel, Room 113, in July 2025. One evening we came back to find our suitcase disturbed. At first we thought housekeeping had moved things, but on checkout day we noticed valuables were missing, including items tucked deep inside our luggage. Some valuable things left in plain sight were untouched, which made it seem like someone had deliberately searched our bags. There was no forced entry, and we’re certain the room was locked. We even had a photo of the door they claimed had been broken into. It seems likely that someone with access to room keys entered. There’s no room safe and no security cameras anywhere on the property. When we told the receptionist, Irene, she said the cleaning staff didn’t go through bags. She also brought up an alleged break-in the previous month in Room 112, through the balcony. A guest supposedly caught the intruder inside, but there still aren’t any cameras. We don’t know if that account is true. Later that same day, another family told us they were being moved from Evita Bay Hotel to Evita Elite after a large amount of cash had gone missing from their room. That makes this seem like a recurring issue, not a one-off. This was a deeply upsetting experience.

We discovered the theft while packing to leave Evita Elite Hotel in Faliraki, Rhodes, where we stayed July 16-20, 2025. Jewelry in a jewelry box and our AirPods had been taken from our locked room. They were tucked inside bags, not sitting out in the open. We reported it to reception immediately and filed a police report. The hotel offered no real help, suggested someone from outside might have done it despite there being no forced entry, and told us to speak to the police. There are no security cameras, and management has ignored every email we sent after leaving. No investigation, apology, or compensation. It was awful, and I wouldn’t wish the experience on anyone.
