This apartment-hotel worked well for us: it was budget-friendly, the staff were nice, and our two-room apartment was spacious, with a large balcony facing the sea. It’s all a bit worn, and the cutlery doesn’t match, but everything works. The air conditioning was good, and I had no complaints. The minimarket is pricey, though handy for last-minute purchases. There’s an AB regular food store about a 15-minute walk away if you want to shop there. Rhodos best beach for swimming or sunbathing is 10 minutes away on foot. Take the shortcut beside the road to the right of the sharp bend. I missed having a microwave instead of an owen. There are fig-trees on the right side of the parking lot, which I really recommend for breakfast. If you want a budget holiday, I can warmly recommend this place. For a high-end hotel, look elsewhere. The pool at the hotel next door, across the parking lot, is nice when you’re tired of the beach. It’s free if you buy something at the bar/restaurant, and they have good gyros.

It looks a bit shady from outside, but it really isn’t. The place is quite central, has safe parking of its own, and restaurants and such are within walking distance. I’d recommend it, and we had a great time, though the mattresses could really use an Ikea replacement. This is LOW budget accommodation, so don’t expect a 5-star resort. Some other negative reviews seem biased and unrealistic. The beds are bad, but they’re clean, and it’s a decent place for a week or two. Even 5-star beds are probably worse than your own at home anyway. You get one hard brick cushion, but you can ask for another decent one. Housekeeping was every other day in our experience. It could be better, and we did find some hairs, but it’s not going to be surgery-room clean. The place is often under €20/night. You can ask for fresh towels if there’s an accident or whatever. Staff were VERY friendly. They even offered us water bottles for the airport, though we said no since we still had too many drinks to finish. The air conditioning costs 8/day, which is crazy expensive, but they deduct the charge for a late arrival or early departure. To me that’s a good gesture other places should make standard. You can run it all day without complaints about energy use. They understand that using a steady 22c all day takes less than blasting it at 16-20c when you get back late from island trips and want to cool the room quickly. Finally, decent people running a place like this. The one star I took off was for their supermarket, which seems silly in its pricing. A basic prepackaged €0,50 supermarket icecream is €4, though beer is a fair €2,50 for a 0.5L can. The market is pretty much open 24/7 if someone is around and you have cash, which is a plus. Card payments stop after a certain time. Water pressure is good, but as everywhere in Greece, sun-boiled water heaters are inconsistent. One moment you burn your bum, the next you freeze. That’s the price here, and we’ve found the same issue at expensive €500/night resorts too. The location is good, though when we were there the neighbouring TUI hotel seemed to have music nights every day. Faliraki in general seems to be the British Blackpool dump. If those people would stay away, Faliraki would be perfect. The decibels were disturbing, terrorism level, and shaking the bed. I probably missed something, but I’d recommend it. 9/10.

I stayed for a week with my family. The whole family working there were kind and helpful. Thanks for the free clothes pegs 😊, and thanks to the cleaning lady for putting in so much effort.

The owners are friendly and will help sort out any problems. It’s a good location, about 10-15 minutes from bar street and five minutes from the nearest beach. I’d use it again without a problem. I paid 244 Euros for seven nights, so about 35 Euros a night. For that, I got a bathroom that worked, hot water, enough wardrobe space, drawers and cupboards, and a good-sized balcony with a table and chairs. A safe was included too, which was a bonus. The shower wasn’t powerful, and everything could do with a refurb, but I wasn’t complaining. There were three single beds when I only needed one, so a double would have been better. The beds were hard and need replacing. Those rubbish hard mattresses don’t suit me, though some people might like them. All in all, I’m really not complaining. You get what you pay for, and it’s a great budget choice.

Really nice place to stay, with clean, quiet rooms and helpful staff. The girl at reception was very nice. The only thing missing was a brush and scoop in the room for cleaning the floor when needed. Everything else was perfect. Thank you :)
