Giovanni Villa Giovanni

We were there for 10 lovely days, and the owner was always reachable by phone and went out of her way to help. The villa has a great outdoor pool and eating area, and we spent all our meals outside. It was fully air conditioned, which was lovely at night. There are balconies off nearly every room. Both double bedrooms upstairs have two balconies, and the larger one has a sea view and lovely sunsets. The booking.com photos showed balcony furniture, but we only had a small table and two chairs by the front door, which was a shame. The place was a bit tired, with a few things broken or not working right. We went in October at the end of the season, so we expected that, and it didn't spoil the villa for us. It also has a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, and a large table we never used. A handy shop is right next door, but we never heard noise from it while by the pool. The beach is a couple of minutes away on foot, and Faliraki town is a 10-minute walk along the beach, or a little quicker by road. The listing mentioned an ensuite double room, but there wasn't one. Upstairs there were two double rooms with a bathroom between them. There's a twin bedroom on the ground floor, and another twin suite on the lower ground floor with its own living room and bathroom. A gate connects the neighboring villa, so the two together would work for four families or one very large family.
