We arrived earlier than expected, so breakfast wasn’t included that day, but they still waited until we’d eaten before asking us to pay for the room. That warm welcome set the tone. We came as tourists and left feeling like friends. The family who runs the place went out of their way to help, sharing all the information we needed and even calling the bus company and arranging a taxi. The rooms were roomy enough, and our four-year-old slept comfortably in the same bed as us, though they offered to bring another small one. It was cleaned every day, with fresh towels daily, and breakfast had plenty of variety and was filling. We also made good use of the clothes line on the balcony. It’s about a five-minute walk to the bus for Rhodes Town, Lindos and other important places on the island, and around five minutes to the nearest beach or the town centre. Maybe ten if you’re feeling lazy. I’d choose a family-run place like this again. 10/10.

The hotel is close to both the beach and the city centre, and the staff are very friendly. Rooms are cleaned every day, the breakfast tastes good, and there’s air conditioning. If you’re considering a stay here, I’d say go for it!

We stayed at Marieta with a friend. She was really kind and happy to help whenever we asked, including giving us ideas about where to go. There was a good range of food at breakfast and it tasted delicious, although the choices were nearly the same each day. Our room was clean, and every few days it was cleaned again with fresh towels.

The owners were so warm, helpful and friendly that it felt like staying with our grandparents. The place was even better than we’d expected, with clean rooms and a tasty breakfast that had both sweet and savory options.
