270 Oia's View

The blue bathroom was my favorite, it’s so stylish! We had two wonderfully relaxing, romantic days at 270’s. The house was spacious for just the two of us, with everything we needed, and we loved cooking there and unwinding with the ocean views from the house and pool. Breakfast was really tasty too, especially according to my husband, haha. Thank you ❤️

Watching the sunset from our private pool patio was a real treat, much nicer than squeezing into Oia’s narrow streets. The cave hotel was close to the walking path into Oia and to several local tavernas. We were there over Easter, and the host left us traditional Greek Easter touches, including candles and red eggs. The room and towels were refreshed twice a day, and breakfast was delicious and brought to the room each morning. The place was beautiful and well run, and we received a lovely gift when we left. I’d certainly recommend it for a Santorini stay.

The kind, available staff and the well-kept gardens with their flowers were definite pluses. We also liked the view, pool, and jacuzzi. But we had booked three nights in April and left after just one, despite losing €900. The four-bedroom villa felt extremely cramped. Three bedrooms were underground with no windows, and the mezzanine bedroom had no privacy. The small indoor table and couches faced a wall. The house and equipment seemed quite old and could use refreshing. Breakfast was minimal and not tasty. Our main issues weren’t resolved: the bedrooms were only 15-16 degrees, the old AC units were noisy, and there was almost no hot water. We were offered another room along with the house, but declined. The owner made no refund or other gesture. For the price, it compared very poorly with the other homes and villas we rented during our ten-day trip. Oia was also a 20-30 minute trip away for sunset.

The place is quiet and away from the noise, with a great restaurant next door and Thera within walking distance. The hilltop views and morning hikes are outstanding. Our room was cleaned every day, and the staff were responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, and the pool and hot tub worked well for both exercise and relaxing. It’s expensive, but you generally get good value here.
