Waking up early to watch the sun rise over the Aegean Sea from the villa terrace and sunbeds, with waves splashing against the rocks below, is something you have to experience for yourself. The natural setting is exquisite. Breakfast at Arte Di Mare was included, and we also paid for a floating breakfast in the villa’s Jacuzzi, which made an already gorgeous stay even more comfortable. Our two-night stay in the two-bedroom villa at Casa Di Mare in Imerovigli depended on the honest, incredible support of Property Manager Nena Damani. She made booking from Atlanta, GA, easy and always answered my calls or texts, day or night, whether I was in the US or Greece. She helped with this stay and our visit to her other property, the Divine Caves, for its Wellness Experience. That was followed by a mind-blowing dinner at their Ylia restaurant on a mountain cliff at the Caves, with earth-shatteringly beautiful sunsets. The food was to die for, and Nena made sure they could accommodate us as vegetarians. She also arranged taxi transfers to and from all her properties and the airport and seaport. Her generous, unassuming service taught me a thing or two about hospitality. Throughout our Greece travels, people kept saying, “please don't thank me - it's my job!” They really mean it.

We’ve been to Casa di Mare twice now, and both visits were amazing. The hosts are welcoming and helpful, the house has everything we needed, and the sea view is lovely. We especially enjoyed the heated jacuzzi. We’ll definitely return soon!

We spent five days there in July, and the villa was even more magical than the photos. The hosts were lovely and accommodating, and breakfast was delicious. They gave us great suggestions for restaurants, taxis, and massages at the villa. The price was hard to beat, too. It’s fairly remote, which suited us because we wanted to avoid the crowds, and shopping and food were only about 15 minutes away. Hope we make it back next year!

Our ten-day stay was horrible. There were lizards, spiders, insects, and bed bugs in and around the room, and I needed medication for the bites. Large, aggressive wild dogs also came onto the villa’s private balcony by the pool. When I told the host, Alex, he said there was nothing he could do because the dog wasn’t his. He was rude and had an attitude throughout our stay. After cleaning, the crew left our doors unlocked, and I noticed items missing. They smoked in the room, leaving our clothes smelling of smoke. I also wouldn’t book tours through them: the prices were double what we found elsewhere. I posted photos of the dogs, lizards, and bugs. Feel free to contact me before booking. Beware!

The villa was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed, with a private pool and access to the ocean. Breakfast was out of this world, and the hospitality really made our trip. Everything matched the description and then some. It looked even better than the pictures. Thanks for making the trip so much better!
