CSky Hotel

The peaceful setting and delicious food made our stay at CSky hotel unforgettable. Our room was spacious and super clean, with a stunning view of the Caldera. We also loved the cocktails at the 360 bar before and after dinner. We’ll definitely be back next year!

The pools need heating. Ours was too cold to use, and it will still be cold in September. The furniture also needs updating, though that mattered less to us since we spent little time using it. The online room photos don’t match reality, either. The rooms look as if they haven’t been refreshed in a decade, so don’t base your decision on those pictures. I’d also read the hotel’s replies to reviews carefully, since their attitude there says a lot. The location is very isolated, which makes it quiet and romantic if you’re looking to avoid the crowds, stairs, and touristy side of Santorini. The views are breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. The service was just as impressive: Gerta is the soul of the place, and Harris, the manager, and pero were attentive and eager to help. The chef is a genius, one of the best in Santorini. Later, Gerta contacted me and gave me more than one reason to believe she’d been denied the pay she deserved for her work. She deserved every bit of it. I can’t believe employers can still do this in 2024 without being questioned. I’d hoped to return to CSky, but now it’s definitely off my list of favorite Santorini hotels.

We had a brilliant few days and are already trying to work out when we can return. The staff were superb, and the views are breathtaking. Santorini is beautiful, but we kept wanting to get back to the hotel for some peace and quiet. Its elevation catches a breeze, which helps you escape the heat, and there’s a pool to cool off in. I can’t recommend the hotel highly enough.

The view is incredible, and the staff were professional and kind. Still, at the price they charge, the services promised but never provided make it possible to find a better hotel in Santorini. Breakfast arrived cold every day. While we ate, workers cleaned the pool beside our suite each morning, so we couldn’t fully enjoy breakfast with someone working right there. The suite’s pool water looked clean but wasn’t clear, and the bathroom felt very old-fashioned. They offered us complimentary arrival transport and dinner, but we never got either. Then we were unexpectedly charged for transport back.
