The beds were so firm that we had trouble sleeping, and the owner's frequent presence made things feel a bit monitored, especially around using the air conditioning or water. I understand there are shortages on the island, but it affected our comfort. The owner lives onsite and is friendly. The terrace has no shade, so it was hard to enjoy during the day. The apartments are small, which makes sense for the area, but the kitchenette is limited and the bar fridge only fits a few drinks and snacks. On the plus side, the apartment is right in the heart of Fira, with shops, restaurants, the caldera path, and a beautiful view from the terrace, especially upstairs at sunset. It was a mixed stay, with the location and views its main charms.

The private plunge pool became our favorite place to relax and watch the sunset during our five-night honeymoon at Archontiko Suites. The views from the suite were unforgettable, and housekeeping kept everything immaculate. Our host made the airport transfers and hotel arrangements stress-free, and even arranged a bellboy for our luggage. The stairs can be tricky, so we really recommend using that service. A perfect romantic getaway, we'd happily recommend it.

The cozy room had charming Cycladic decor and thoughtful little touches. The rooftop terrace was a front-row spot for the caldera, with stunning views, especially at sunset.

The hotel has a great view, but our stay was miserable because of the owner Vasilis. He and his son were very rude to customers, and there’s no bellboy or anyone to help with luggage. You have to tackle at least 50-60 very steep stairs, and in summer the heat while doing that is unbearable. Vasilis lives on the property and kept roaming around, which felt intrusive. He came into our room without permission to tell us to turn off the AC. Even with a do not disturb sign up, he sent the housekeeper in, though she didn’t do anything. He charged my family and me 120 euros for an extra bed by manipulating the reservation. The beds were super uncomfortable. On our last day, we asked to leave our luggage for a few hours because our flight was at night, but he left it outside in the hot sun. That damaged my wife's medicine, and she is a spinal injury patient. The location is nice, but I’d tell people to stay away. I found the owner greedy and unwelcoming, with no manners.
