Plastiras Rooms

We meant to stay at Hotel Plastiras for one night, but Aura and the rest of the team were so kind and the service was so good that we added another. It’s a cozy little hotel with clean rooms and a nice pool, about a 10-minute walk from central Fira. The staff really made it special. Highly recommend.

The owner was lovely and easy to reach on WhatsApp, replying almost right away. Our room was cleaned every day, and we could use the kitchen utensils and dishes. It was spacious, spotless, and had a really nice smell. Tea, coffee, a kettle, sugar, and a lovely soap that didn’t dry out my skin were provided. There’s also a nice pool. We had our best stay while island hopping here. Absolutely recommend, 10/10.

The owners are so friendly and helpful, they make you feel at home. This was my second time on the island and staying at Plastiras rooms, and I’d happily come back again. It’s in a quiet spot with no cars or people passing by, so you can rest without loud music, but Caldera, tavernas, bars, and clubs are still only a 5-10 minute walk away. The hotel is in the middle of the island, which makes going in either direction easy and saves driving time if you rent a car. They also arrange transfers for a good price, in my experience cheaper than a taxi, and private island tours to the best spots. The roads and traffic can seem difficult, so having locals show you around was great. The room was nice and clean too.

They drove us around the whole island on a tour, picked us up at the airport, and made breakfast work for us. The whole family was polite, kind, and really helpful, and they made our Santorini trip. I’d book their tour instead of spending time in the congested areas. Also, as a West Ham fan, I was happy to meet an Olympiacos fan. Europa trophy winners together 😊😊😊😊
