We had several problems with the room, and the manager didn’t offer any help or even have anything to say about them. We left early, even though we’d paid for the room. Unless you happen to get an upstairs room, you may be staring at a wall, with cars passing just five meters away. The view might be decent if you’re lucky. Worst hotel in Santorini.

The room was tiny, dirty, and so noisy that we couldn’t bear the night. There were bugs in the room, and the bedsheets weren’t clean. The toilet felt like one in a public restroom. The air conditioner didn’t work, and even outside felt cooler than our room. The TV wouldn’t turn on either, so it seemed like everything was broken. We tried talking to the receptionist, but he didn’t want to fix anything. Honestly, I’d rather sit in a chair at the airport than stay here. I think the hotel should refund us. This was the worst hotel experience of my life.

When we arrived in Fira to check in, we were made to wait two extra hours, even though there was an open room that was clearly ready. During the stay we found a bed bug in one of the mattresses. It was awful and unsettling to think it could roam freely around the beds. The receptionist and owner, Katerina, had a clearly negative attitude toward us. On departure day she kept pestering us to leave, even though checkout time was still a long way off.

We couldn’t sleep all night and ended up moving to another hotel. The owner yelled at us and gave no refund. She hadn’t known about our booking or prepared anything, and the place smelled bad and was very dirty. This isn’t a hotel, and the owner is very rude. Stay here and you’ll have the worst experience of your life.
