Hotel Hellinis

The cafes and restaurants along the river are just a few minutes away on foot. The staff were kind and helpful, the room and sheets were very clean, and the shower had great water pressure. The air conditioning worked really well too.

It’s a three-minute walk to the main square and five minutes to the river, with the train and bus stations close by too. There’s also a car park behind the hotel. For the price, this is the best value in Florina. The room was very clean, the air conditioning excellent, and the internet great. Staff were attentive, and check-in and check-out were quick and easy. I can’t recommend it highly enough if you’re keeping costs down.

The location was the best part for me, and for the city it offered the best balance of price and location among the options I saw. I liked some of the old-style touches, such as carpets on the floor, that you don’t find in modern hotels. The whole place, especially the room, was very clean, and the staff were kind despite some difficulty communicating in a shared language. The price still felt a little high for the region. My room wasn’t as quiet as I expected because street noise came through, and the internet connection on the second floor was very poor.

It’s a quiet place, and most of the staff were friendly. One person at reception watched us a bit too closely and asked indiscreet questions, which made us uncomfortable. The room seemed poorly patched, with safety hazards, and the hotel looked very old and unrenovated.
