Nandia Studio & Apartment

I’m so disappointed with Nandia. I sent several messages and waited days for a reply, then still couldn’t get a straight answer about whether restaurants would be open or ferries would run in November. Another place on the island answered right away and told me ferries operate three times a week, though they depend entirely on the weather, and restaurants in the main town are all closed. You need a car if you want any chance of eating out. Shame on you, Nandia, for not answering my messages or telling me the truth. Imagine if I’d booked and ended up trapped on the island with no way to eat out, since your room has no kitchen. Zero stars. Not impressed!

They accepted my booking, then cancelled it the next day. A waste of my time. Beware!

Everything was impeccable, and the place was spotless and right by everything. The hostess was kind, discreet and helpful, always there if we needed something. She even made us spaghetti with minced meat ❤️. Mrs. Alexandra, you’re wonderful! We stayed with our dog and baby, and I highly recommend it.

Nandia’s apartment was a good place to stay in Gaios. It’s on a slight slope, but that didn’t bother us, and it’s about a five-minute walk to the main square and restaurants, with a supermarket nearby. The apartment was clean and had what we needed. Her very pleasant mother deserves a mention for letting us leave our luggage before check-in. There’s no air conditioning, but they provide a fan. We recommend it for a stay in Gaios!
